Lucas van Straalen is a research assistant at the CORPNET group and recently obtained his BSc Political Science cum laude at the University of Amsterdam. In his BSc thesis “The Resilience of the European Corporate Community” he researched the development of the European network of interlocking directorates between 2005 and 2018 under supervisory of Eelke Heemskerk and with Meindert Fennema as second reader.
Next to this, Lucas was also the local managing chair of the IC²S² conference that took place in the summer of 2019.
